Colleen Finn
is a creative coach, graphic designer, illustrator, architect, and longtime design educator who’s helped hundreds of artists, makers, and creatively burned-out professionals find their way back to the passion that started it all. She’s been everything from a children’s book illustrator to an adult swimming instructor, and she knows firsthand what it means to lose — and rediscover — your creative voice.
Through her 12-week coaching program Rise & Shine: From Quicksand to Quasar, Colleen helps overextended creatives stop spiraling in self-doubt and finally start making work (and decisions) that feel like them again. Whether you’re climbing a creative ladder that leads nowhere or just trying to make space to hear your own ideas again, she’s here to help you build a life that actually supports your creative brain — not just runs it ragged. BONUS: She is also a Time Management expert and has been speaking on her method for over 20 years, so you know she can help with that annoying procrastination and overwhelm!
When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her illustrating grumpy anthropomorphic animals, teaching design at the newly-relaunched Creative Circus, or hanging with her PTSD pup, Dotty.
The Moody Tiger
is the unpredictable creature who lives in your head — part snarky saboteur, part unhinged muse. One minute he's whispering, “You’re not good enough,” and the next, he's flinging you into a flurry of late-night inspiration you must get down before it disappears forever.
He’s the one who pushes you to keep creating… but also convinces you to procrastinate with deep-cleaning your junk drawer.
At The Moody Tiger, we don’t try to tame him — we teach you how to work with him. Because the goal isn’t to silence your inner chaos. It’s to channel it. Your Tiger is your resistance and your fire. Your fear and your brilliance. We’ll set some ground rules, build you a solid creative habitat, and teach that Tiger when to roar and when to chill.
He’s dramatic. He’s demanding. But he’s the reason you’re still chasing something magical — and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
